This historic residence, originally built in 1884, was fully renovated. While the clients were interested in a balanced, modern style, they also wanted some of the historic features of the house to remain. Therefore, the heavy timber structure was repurposed as beams in the kitchen. Additionally, the original old and steep staircase was replaced with a u-shaped stair, exposing some of the existing floor beams.
